The ASCA Peer Review Committee provides a means for the review of chiropractic claims to remain the responsibility of the chiropractic profession. Claims are reviewed expeditiously at minimal cost to members. The ASCA Ethics Committee is committed to upholding the association's professional Code of Ethics.

• Regulatory Advocacy

ASCA works closely with state and federal agencies to ensure that the rights of chiropractors and patients are protected and enhanced. ASCA serves as the liaison for the profession with such agencies as the Department of Industrial Relations, Alabama Department of Insurance, Alabama Department of Public Health and the Alabama Board of Chiropractic Examiners. ASCA also works with national organizations to resolve issues which arise at the federal level.

• Legislative Advocacy

The ASCA provides year round professional representation through a full time lobbying team. ASCA members are also known by their legislators because the ASCA has a powerful political action committee (C-PAC). We lobby members of the Alabama House of Representatives, the Alabama Senate and the Executive Branch of government to protect the rights of chiropractors and their patients. ASCA communicates regularly with the state's congressional delegation and ASCA representatives visit them personally on your behalf in Washington each year at the National Legislative Conference.

Membership Fees and Classifications

Dues are payable quarterly (October 1, January 1, April 1, July 1) through the local society.

Does not include Local Society Dues.
