ASCA Welcomes New Executive Director, ACA Partnership

The Alabama State Chiropractic Association (ASCA) is excited to begin its partnership with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). ACA’s association management services bring great value to ASCA and as we begin this new chapter, we want to introduce ACA’s association management team and share a few of the first steps of this new collaboration.

Brenda Toler will serve as ASCA executive director. She has over a decade of experience working in the chiropractic industry. She owned a chiropractic supply company for seven years before transitioning into association management as the director of membership and education for the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association. She has been serving in the role of executive director for the Minnesota Chiropractic Association for the past year, applying her expertise in membership, events and business development to oversee daily operations and facilitate association growth. She is excited to do the same as the executive director of ASCA. In this role, she will serve as the new point of contact for ASCA operations and ensure that the association can continue to serve doctors of chiropractic and patients throughout the state of Alabama.

Karen Silberman is ACA executive vice president. She has worked at ACA for six years, during which time she has overseen a governance remodel and organizational rebranding for the association. She is committed to leveraging the expertise of ACA staff to help state chiropractic associations grow and thrive.

Since we announced this partnership with ACA, the team has already been working with ASCA leadership on a few exciting developments. Our annual meeting is being planned now for June 10-11 at the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham. Look for more information and registration details soon!
